Dr. Wiggins sees patients with all forms of kidney disease and related conditions. Patients are seen in timely fashion.  Urgent referrals will be prioritised.   

Conditions treated include: ​ 

• high blood pressure (hypertension) 
• chronic kidney disease (CKD) 
• decreased eGFR (glomerular filtration rate) 
• acute kidney injury 
• abnormalities of the urine including blood in the urine (haematuria) and protein in the urine (albuminuria and proteinuria) 
• nephrotic syndrome 
• immune diseases affecting the kidney such as lupus nephritis, glomerulonephritis and vasculitis 
• kidney stones
• recurrent urinary tract infection
• abnormalities of sodium, potassium and acid-base balance 
• peritoneal dialysis and haemodialysis 
• assessment for kidney donation 
• management of kidney transplants

Telehealth consultations are available when patients are unable to attend for a face-to-face consultation, for example due to COVID-19, limited mobility and living a long distance from the practice.
